Megaga-Powder Brush

Hello! Long time no post? I know! -_- But today I'm sharing this Powder Brush that I got from Born Pretty Store.

It's a powder brush that I've been using to apply my setting powder and blush. I also use it to blend out my face makeup.

The bristles on the brush are made of artificial fiber and they are very soft to the touch-even after it's been washed. The hair is long and though it's thick, it's not stiff. It's more of a loose - haired brush, which makes it perfect for blending your contour and blush lines!

Born Pretty Store: 'Danni Eyeliner' Review

Hello Lovelies! Today I'm reviewing the 'DANNI Eyeliner in shade 02' that I received on June 28. BTW that link is clickable, but if it's not compatible with your device you can product search '13006' at www.bornprettystore.com. Below are a few swatches of the liner, and as you can see it's main color is a dark shade of green/brown (depending on your lighting) with small multi-colored glitter in it along with average sized blue glitter flakes. The products packaging describes it as a blue, waterproof, mechanical pencil that can be used as both eyeshadow and eyeliner, of course I found this to be true!

I've been using this liner for just about two weeks and it works great as a base under most shadow shades and as a glitter topper! Below you can see I used it on my bottom lash line, to darken the green shade I used on my top lid! I love how it darkened it and yet, the liner's glitter still peeked through! BHCosmetics Review & Swatches

Hello Dolls! As you know from instagram +Love, Samantha G I recently bought a few items from +BH Cosmetics and I wanted to share swatches and my thoughts on some items. To begin with let me tell you what I got: 11 out of the 12 foundations they have, 1 gel liner, 1 waterproof lip pencil, and 1 eye shadow palette. Here's a photo of everything put together!

I don't have any solo photos or swatches of the palette I got, which by the way is their Tropical Matte Palette, but I can tell you that the colors are great and very pigmented! It's a must buy!

Above you can see the 11 shades of foundation I purchased. The shade names are as follows from left to right (or top to bottom): L3-Light Rose, M2- Sand, M3-Medium Olive, M4-Medium Rose, M5-Golden Beige, D1-Hazelnut, D2-Mocha, D3-Deep Cocoa, D4-Deep Beige, D5-Deep Ebony, D6-Deep Espresso.

Above is a photo of the foundations fresh on my skin, and below you see the foundations once they've been set. As you can see the foundations set to a satin finish.

Lastly, here is the gel liner I ordered in the shade 'Treasure'

NYX Swatches & Review

Hello Loves! I recently shared a SMALL +NYX Cosmetics haul from +ULTA Beauty on my instagram account and I wanted to share swatches and a brow review! If you do follow me on Instagram then you can tell two items are missing below and they are a 'Matte Setting Spray' and a 'Photo Loving Primer in Lavender'. The reason I'm not including them in my review is because I haven't had enough time with the products to be able to form a good opinion on them. The three products I will be talking about are a slim lip pencil in the shade 'Cabaret', a round lipstick in 'Margarita' and a auto brow pencil in the shade 'Charcoal'.

Starting with the brow pencil, I chose the color 'Charcoal' because I needed a darker brow product for my dark haired clients! As you know wearing black on your brows can be very harsh and though some people can definitely pull it off, black isn't for everyone! So this shade is perfect for my black haired amigas! Above you can see a photo of my brow with no product on it and on the other photo I filled in my brow using only the NYX pencil. This pencil, along with the technique I used to apply it gave my brows a very natural feel and what's greater about it, is that this lasts the entire day! I already own other shades of this pencil, and I definitely recommend it!!!

Above is a swatch of their Round Lipstick in 'Margarita', it's a great spring and summer shade!

Below you see a swatch of their slim lip pencil in the shade 'Cabaret'. I put less pressure in the middle of the heart to show you, how you can build up the color or use it with a light hand for an ombre effect!

The last product I wanted to swatch for you is their Primal Colors eyeshadow in the shade 'Hot Red'. Below you can see it's packaging and swatches (the top one) with primer and (bottom) without.

BPS Eyeliner Deco Review

Hello Loves! I have one last Born Pretty Review for you and it's on their Eyeliner Decoration stickers.

If you follow me on Instagram (@LoveSamanthaG) then these might look familiar and it's because I used them on a couple different Valentines Day looks. You can click HERE to see one look and here to see the other. The sticky formula on the stickers, does actually 'stick' but for added security I lined the back of them with clear lash glue! Also, if you find the liner part to be a bit long, try cutting the inside part at an angle for a better fit! Lastly, if you just like the pretty butterflys, you can simply cut them out and do your own liner! =]

NYX: Lippie Swatches

About three weeks ago I purchased 2 NYX Matte Lipsticks and 2 Butter Gloss's so today I wanted to share some swatches! First up are the lip sticks! The purple shade is 'Aria' and the other 'Indie Flick'.

Below are the Butter Gloss swatches.

The pink shade is 'Sugar Cookie' and the coral shade is 'Cherry Cheese Cake'.

Below you can see how I casually wear both lipstick shades. BTW in both photos I used Born Pretty Store's 'Danni 15 eyeshadow palette'.

My Thoughts: Maybelline's Instant Pore Eraser

Hello! About three weeks ago I purchased Maybelline's Instant Pore Eraser from ULTA, so today I wanted to share my thoughts on it. =] Maybelline claims this product's insta-blur technology visibly smooths pores away., and as you can see in the picture below, the product did fill in my pores, which helped my skin look a bit 'smoother'. That being said, I can't really recommend this primer, not so much because it doesn't work (clearly it half way does) but because I've tried so many primers that work so much better than Maybelline's.

If you're looking for a low-end primer that works great, try E.L.F.'s Studio Mineral Infused Face Primer. It works a lot better at filling in my pores, and it keeps my makeup on all day! Born Pretty Store Review: Danni 15 Eyeshadow Palette

Hey guys! Today I'm reviewing Born Pretty's Danni 15 Eye Shadow Makeup Palette that I received about a month ago. It's a sleek black palette with a large mirror, which is what makes this the perfect eyeshadow palette to travel with.

As you can see from the above picture, the eye shadows are really pigmented, and I love the color combination in the palette! You can create a really nice, soft look with this or a really sexy smokey eye! I give the palette a solid 9! The only thing I don't like about this palette is that it's a bit hard to open, (though for some of us this might be a plus!) otherwise I would rate it a perfect 10!

Tiny Inglot Haul, Review + Swatches

I recently purchased a couple of items from Inglot and I wanted to share swatches and my thoughts!

I placed my order over the phone and it shipped the same day getting to me three days later! The customer service was great, like usual and shipping is fast!

Below are collaged photos of me opening my package, so you can see what I saw.

I thought the black tissue paper was a nice touch, and once I opened it I saw a hand written thank you which is definitely appreciated. Next laid my receipt and finally after I ripped open the bubble wrap, there laid my goodies! I only ordered four items, I mentioned this was a tiny haul right? The items and their retail prices are:

-Matte Collection AMC Gel Eyeliner #77 $12.00

-Freedom System Matte Eye Shadow #355 $6.00

-Matte Collection AMC Lip Pencil #33 $11.00

-Freedom System AMC Blush #56 $10.00

Today is actually Dec 22, so I've had some time to play with the makeup and I have to say I love it all! ...Typical, I know but Inglot cosmetics really are good quality and their pricing is pretty competitive! I definitely recommend these items and Inglot as a brand.

The lipstick (I know it says lip pencil on the site, but its in lipstick/crayon form, so I'm just going to call it a lip stick!) can wear for about 7 hours if you're not eating and 5 if you're eating and drinking! That's pretty good right!? I was surprised when I checked my makeup after dinner and saw that my lips were pretty much still perfect!

A matte shadow like this one is necessary in every ones makeup collection! I can use it as a highlight, base and as an all over color! The only down side I see to this particular shade is that without any sort of base, you wouldn't really be able to see it on fair skin. However it's not really a problem because I always use primers and bases!

The secret to perfectly winged liner is using a matte black gel one! Inglot's is perfectly black and the formula is super long wearing! It dries fast, which means it's not going to transfer to the top of your lid but you need to work swiftly. I give their liner a solid 10!!!

If you're into glittery or shimmery blushes, this one is a must! The main thing I love about this one is that I start by applying it as a blush and then I blend it up as highlight! It gives me a beautiful pink-purple-ish glow and the color is super versatile! I don't feel like I need to stick to a certain color on my eyes or lips. The blush is definitely my favorite item and it too gets a 10!

The last thing I wanted to mention is that everything was packaged very well and nothing arrived damaged. So, kudos to the Chelsea store!

The above picture was taken with flash and the one below, without flash and no filters of course! From top to bottom I'm showing you the eye shadow over a base and without a base. Then you see the lippy with no base and finally the blush over a base and without.

My friend Eve (@mynameisevez) (which, I totally met through IG) sent me a package full of Aussey goodies! So I'm just going to list off the products and show you some swatches!
